Natalie dormer
Natalie Dormer
(born 11 February 1982) is an English actress. She has been awarded an Empire
Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics Choice Awards, as
well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire.
She became famous as Anne Boleyn. A part she played in the Showtime series The
Tudors (2008), which received acclaim from the public. In Sweet Nothings
(2010), she made her stage debut and she also played the Duchess of York in Madonna's
W.E. (2011) as well as Private Lorraine in Captain America: The First Avenger
(2011). The performance she gave in After Miss Julie (2012) at the Young Vic
was praised. Dormer received international praise and interest for her roles in
the roles of Margaery Tyrell (2012-2016 on HBO) and Cressida (2014-2015 on The
Hunger Games), which are among her most watched films. She was also a part of
Irene Adler/Moriarty on CBS's Elementary (2013-15), Sara Price Jess Price
(2016, 2017) and Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019). Her role
as Penny Dreadful: City of Angels which was a miniseries based on Penny
Dreadful, was highly appreciated. Dormer was born on the 11th of February 1982
in Reading, Berkshire (England) as the daughter of Gary Dormer & Claire
Richards. She is also the younger sister of Samantha Dormer and Mark Dormer.
