Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was conceived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on 27 August 1976. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents. Sarah is the middle of two brothers, the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career in a television movie, City Boy (1992). In 1993, following her first film, she auditioned for the part of "Becky" in the TV show Roseanne (1988). The show was in search of an alternative to Alicia Goranson, who left the show to go to studies at college. Sarah completed her high school degree in 1995 as she was filming the 1994-95 Roseanne (1988) season. Sarah was also in the film with Jim Varney (1994) in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, she was in two films which included Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996), where she played a cheerleadernamed "Krista Wilson". Sarah was asked to perform in a 1998 TV show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. The show was released one year following Roseanne (1988). Based on the show Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998), the show was also based. Took over the role of Becky in Roseanne (1988) from Alicia Goranson in 1993. She said that she would prefer to not perform and enroll in college. 2001 (1993-1997) She was Sara Gilbert's older sister on Roseanne (1988) However, she's much younger real life. Participated in the 1999 CCMA award ceremony, and was awarded an award for the best single of the year. September 1999: Participated at the age of 8 in Vancouver's theatre productions. She is fluent in French as well as German. She volunteers in a hospice that caters to terminally ill children and works for the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. Chalke enjoys cooking with her friends, especially Thai and sushi, as well as playing guitar. She also enjoys ski (she is an instructor) and kayaking, as well as snowboarding, and reading. Her father is a lawyer. both of her parents are mediators. They also run a child adoption agency. A couple of years ago she traveled with her parents to China to coordinate the adoption of orphans there.
