Alyson Lee Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on 24 March 1974. American actor and host of TV she is the daughter of actor Alyson Lee Hannigan. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she won a People's Choice Award (2009) as well as Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us has been broadcast since 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole child of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother, who's Jewish is also Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. She relocated to Hollywood with her mother when she was eleven years old. Her father, a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. After high school, she attended California State University Northridge. In Northridge she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and also earned a psychology degree. Hannigan's first movie appearance was in the movie My Stepmother Is an Alien in 1988. Seth Green was one of her co-stars, and later was her co-star on Buffy. Her first TV character came in 1989 when she was made an actress in the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager when she was babysitting the children of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was then selected to portray Willow Rosenberg (Buffy Summers' best friend) in the tv show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was honored with the media attention that she received in 1997. She also watched over Bob Saget's kids on the TV show How I Met Your Mom. Angel wanted her to play Willow's role in a few episodes.
