Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actress and producer. In 1995,
she made her debut in a feature film by starring in the independent film Kids.
Her roles in the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the
Pussycats (2002). Dawson is also a voiceover for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well
as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. As part of her character in Rent,
Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion
Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated to the Critics Choice Award for
the category of Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979
in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican
ancestry. Rosario was just 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel
Celeste, never was married. Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was a girl the first
children of her mother's marriage to Greg Dawson (a construction worker).
Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson
is also known for her appearances in comic book adaptations. They include Gail
in Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
(2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe.
The actress also plays the role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman
Movie. In 2020, she voiced Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian,
and is scheduled to appear in the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In
2021, she'll reprise her role in Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson autobiographical
comedy.
