Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. The host of the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook shows easy to master methods and her signature blonde spiky locks. Chef Burrell had a job at the top New York restaurants and studied Italian cooking traditions as well as the geography. Additionally, she competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. Her passion was for the industry of restaurant management by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America after earning a degree in English and Communication from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a great experience for me. It was impossible to learn about, practice or do all the things I did. Chef Burrell was a graduate of The Culinary Institute for Foreigners in Italy worked for one year in Umbria in Umbria at La Taverna del Lupo and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, the Michelin-starred restaurant. While in Italy made her more aware and appreciate the Italian philosophy and culture, which has had an impact on her own food and culinary experience. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten the lives of kids who face difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Celebrity Ambassador, where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. She travels frequently around the country in her role as both a mentor and public speaker in which she speaks about her professional life and the joy of cooking. Anne has stated throughout her professional career she's extremely fortunate being able to communicate with people what is most important to her.
