Kaitlyn Ann Vincie
Kaitlyn Ann Vincie was born on in 1987 on December 10, 1987. She is an American journalist. As a reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents the daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's love for stock car racing began when she was given the pit lane permit and after graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. Vincie's personal NASCAR video blogs were made available on SceneDaily which is a stock car racing site. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton when Vincie had begun high school. She is the youngest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth-grade school teacher, while her grandfather was part of the faculty of Bridgewater College. From a young age Vincie showed an interest in journalism. Vincie was a graduate of Fauquier High School, in 2006. She competed in the track and field, and was a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. She took home the 800m relay at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had a meeting with journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with lots of information. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie worked as an intern in the athletics department at the university. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. Vincie wrote a senior dissertation on the subject of gender in auto racing which focussed on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She was drawn to racing after she received a pit lane pass to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda, and Wendy Venturini.
